Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an experienced DeltaV Technical Lead to own the end-to-end delivery of a DeltaV Batch automation project. This hands-on leadership role directs detail design, builds, FAT, SAT, commissioning, and post-go-live support.

The successful candidate serves as the primary DeltaV authority, interfaces with client operations, engineering and QA/regulatory teams, leads a small engineering team, and ensures rigorous testing, change control, and knowledge transfer.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in industrial process automation with at least 5 years hands-on DeltaV engineering.
• Proven delivery of DeltaV Batch projects from design through commissioning.
• Deep knowledge of ISA-88 (S88) batch standard: procedural model, physical model, recipe types.
• Strong expertise in DeltaV equipment phase development, phase state model, and phase parameters/reports.
• Proven experience leading FAT, SAT, and commissioning activities for DeltaV systems.
• Experience producing and reviewing FDS, Control Narratives, and test documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead detail design efforts including FDS authoring and architecture definitions.
• Oversee build, FAT, master recipe development, and configuration management.
• Manage on-site commissioning and SAT activities with multi-discipline teams.
• Lead cutover, go-live, hyper-care and post go-live support.
• Ensure change control and project documentation is maintained and transferred to client support.
