Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an experienced DeltaV Technical Lead to own end-to-end delivery of a DeltaV Batch automation project. This hands-on leadership role directs detail design, guides a team through build, FAT, SAT, commissioning, and stabilisation post go-live.

The successful candidate will act as the primary technical authority for the DeltaV system, interfacing with client operations, engineering, and QA/regulatory teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in industrial process automation
• At least 5 years hands-on DeltaV engineering
• Delivery of DeltaV Batch projects from design through commissioning
• Strong knowledge of ISA-88 batch standard and recipe types
• Experience leading FAT, SAT, and commissioning activities for DeltaV systems
• Proven ability to author and review FDS, Control Narratives, and test documentation

Responsibilities

• Lead FDS authoring and review; define DeltaV system architecture and hardware sizing
• Develop batch strategy including S88 hierarchy and recipe design
• Oversee build, FAT, SAT, commissioning, and post-go-live support
• Own configuration management and version control during build
• Lead on-site commissioning activities and liaise with multi-discipline teams
• Provide training materials and knowledge transfer to client support teams
• Interface with client operations, engineering, QA/regulatory teams
