Software Engineer
The Software Engineering team delivers next-generation application enhancements and new products for a changing world. As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high-value next-generation products on aggressive deadlines and will be required to write high-quality, highly optimized/high-performance and maintainable code that your fellow developers love. You will be a core member of a team that does whatever it takes to delight internal customers, taking an iterative and result-oriented approach to software development.
You will:

1. Provide best-fit Architecture, Design and Implementation for Big Data solutions.
2. Collaborate with some of the best talent in the industry to create and implement innovative high-quality solutions.
3. Work on cutting edge technologies in data engineering and in evolving AI & ML designs.

Essential Requirements

1. Graduate/post-graduate degree in Computer Science with 4+ years of experience in software engineering, focusing on data engineering, design and development of applications and services in Big Data environment and in Cloud infrastructure/services such as Microsoft Azure.
2. Programming in Java and Scala.
3. Expertise in technologies such as Spark, Kafka, Stream and batch processing for big data applications.
4. Expertise in Databases such as Oracle and SQL Server.

Desirable Requirements

1. PKS or any container services.
2. Good understanding of Clustered environments and Designing for Performance and throughput.
