Job summary

Farmers Furniture is seeking personnel to support delivery and warehouse activities, loading and unloading merchandise, and assisting with customer deliveries to homes or businesses. The role includes stocking, maintenance, and following our delivery standards while promoting our HO.M.E values.

Responsibilities include directing trucks, recording deliveries, and performing related duties in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Jr. High School Diploma; six months experience in distribution or warehouse environment, shipping/receiving or delivering merchandise; or any combination of training, experience and education which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position.

Responsibilities

• Unloads merchandise from warehouse and freight trucks.
• Loads truck in preparation for daily deliveries; assists with delivery, unloading and set-up.
• Assists with repossessions of goods.
• Records deliveries on delivery record and submits to appropriate management.
• Performs customer service inspections and repairs as needed.
• Maintains cleanliness of store/warehouse interior and grounds and upholds the company’s Delivery Standards.
