Job summary

Farmers Home Furniture in Georgia is seeking a warehouse/delivery associate to load, unload, and assist with the delivery of merchandise to customers' homes or businesses. The role emphasizes safe vehicle operations, accurate delivery records, and efficient merchandise setup.

You'll work on a team protecting quality service, maintain store and warehouse cleanliness, and participate in repossession support and setup as needed, following our delivery standards and HO.M.E values.

Qualifications

• Six months experience in distribution or warehouse environment, shipping/receiving or delivering merchandise.
• Ability to learn and follow warehouse procedures and safety rules.
• Basic math and record-keeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads merchandise from trucks and sets up displays.
• Directs trucks into unloading areas to ensure safe operations.
• Records deliveries on delivery records and submits to management.
• Assists with deliveries to customers' homes or businesses.
• Maintains cleanliness and upkeep of store/warehouse.
• Upholds company Delivery Standards and H.O.M.E values.
• Performs customer service inspections and repairs as needed.
