Job summary

Farmers Home Furniture is seeking a warehouse and delivery associate to support loading/unloading, stock placement, and customer delivery services. Ideal candidates have at least a Jr. High School Diploma and six months in a distribution or warehouse setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a Jr. High School Diploma and six months experience in distribution or warehouse environments, shipping/receiving or delivering merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Places stock on shelves or racks and sets up merchandise and displays.
• Unloads merchandise from warehouse and freight trucks.
• Assists delivery drivers by directing trucks into unloading areas and records deliveries.
• Loads trucks for daily deliveries and assists with delivery, unloading and setup.
• Obtains customer signature on receipts for pickup or delivery.
• Performs customer service inspections and repairs as needed.
• Maintains cleanliness of store/warehouse interior and grounds and upholds Delivery Standards.
