Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Delivery Van Driver (JR111338) to operate a non-CDL delivery vehicle and transport food staples and specialty products to various customer locations. You will load/unload, document trips, and perform warehouse tasks when not on deliveries, all while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifying candidates are at least 21, have a valid license with a clean record, and can read/write English. DOT physical required; lifting up to 75 pounds is common.

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Current driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• DOT physical required.
• Ability to read, write and understand English at a functional level.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload products at customer sites using a dolly or hand truck.
• Document trip data, receipts, delivery exceptions, and vehicle issues.
• Perform warehouse-related duties when not delivering.
• Work safely to prevent injuries and product damage.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Box Truck Driver operates a non-CDL delivery vehicle to transport food staples and specialty products to various customer locations. Commercial driving experience is preferred for this position.

What you’ll do as a Delivery Van Driver:

• Load and unload products at customer sites, using a dolly or hand truck if needed.

Qualifications you’ll bring as a Delivery Van Driver Teammate:

• At least 21 years of age.
• Current driver's license and acceptable driving record (2 or fewer moving violations in the past 3 years and no DWI/DUI in the past 5 years).
• DOT physical.
• Lift and move product and packages which may weigh up to 75 pounds.
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
