Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Delivery Van Driver for the 3rd shift to serve customer locations with a non-CDL delivery vehicle. The role emphasizes safe driving, accurate documentation, and warehouse support when not on deliveries.

You must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record; a DOT physical is required. The position offers comprehensive benefits starting after 60 days and paid holidays after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Current driver's license with an acceptable driving record (2 or fewer moving violations in 3 years; no DWI/DUI in 5 years).
• DOT physical required.
• Ability to read, write and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job tasks safely.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload products at customer sites using a dolly or hand truck when needed.
• Document trip data, receipts, delivery exceptions and vehicle issues.
• Perform warehouse-related duties when not delivering.
• Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

The Box Truck Driver operates a non-CDL delivery vehicle to transport food staples and specialty products to various customer locations. Commercial driving experience is preferred for this position.

• Pay rate: $25.75 per hour.


• Schedule: 3rd Shift; Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights, 9:00pm start time

Qualifications you’ll bring as a Delivery Van Driver Teammate:

• At least 21 years of age.


• Current driver's license and acceptable driving record (2 or fewer moving violations in the past 3 years and no DWI/DUI in the past 5 years).


• DOT physical.


• Lift and move product and packages which may weigh up to 75 pounds.


• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
