Job summary

Accendra Health in Murfreesboro, TN is hiring a Delivery Technician to safely deliver, set up, and pick up durable medical equipment in patients' homes. You will educate patients on how to use the equipment and ensure safe operation while delivering high-quality customer service.

This role offers a stable schedule, a smaller branch feel, and on-site work with some on-call shifts. You will lift up to 50 lbs, complete delivery logs, and participate in routine vehicle checks while supporting

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No experience required; must be 21+ with valid driver’s license.
• Completion of Apria’s Driver Training Program.
• Ability to lift, carry and maneuver up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, set up, and pick up DME and supplies inside patient homes.
• Provide clear, compassionate instruction on equipment use and safety.
• Offer a high level of customer service for life-sustaining needs.
• Load and unload equipment from the delivery vehicle and maintain logs.

Delivery Technician – Murfreesboro, TN

About the Role

The Delivery Technician delivers, sets up, and picks up durable medical equipment (DME) in patient homes. You will educate patients on basic equipment use and ensure safe operation while providing high‑quality customer service.

Schedule

Schedule Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM

On‑Call Transparency: On‑call rotation one week a month. Rotation runs Monday–Sunday. Paid an on‑call stipend. Paid from the moment you leave home for a call. Overtime paid if on‑call causes over 40 hours in the week. Most callouts occur Saturday night and Sunday daytime.

Travel Requirements: Service radius approximately two hours from the branch. Most technicians take their trucks home unless they are unable.

Salary Range

$19.00 - $23.00 per hour Pay varies based on experience, skills, and location Eligible for Safe Driver Bonus

What You’ll Do

• Safely lift, carry, and maneuver equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. as part of daily deliveries and setups
• Deliver, set up, and pick up DME and supplies inside patient homes
• Provide clear, compassionate, professional instruction on equipment use
• Offer a high level of customer service and support to patients who may rely on this equipment for life‑sustaining needs
• Load and unload equipment from the delivery vehicle
• Respond to emergency delivery requests when needed
• Complete delivery logs, pickup forms, and vehicle documentation accurately
• Maintain supply components in patient profiles
• Assist with equipment cleaning and minor repairs
• Perform routine vehicle checks
• Support additional duties as assigned
