Job summary

Accendra Health is seeking a Delivery Technician to deliver, set up, and pick up durable medical equipment (DME) in patient homes, while educating patients on equipment use and ensuring safe operation. The role supports patient safety, comfort, and independence in the Phoenix Metro market with a stable schedule.

You will handle on-call duties, maintain equipment and logs, and provide compassionate customer service.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, carry and maneuver equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of related work experience.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Safely lift, carry and maneuver equipment up to 50 lbs during deliveries and setups.
• Deliver, set up, and pick up DME and supplies in patient homes.
• Provide clear, compassionate instruction on equipment use.
• Deliver high level of customer service for life-sustaining needs.
• Complete delivery logs and vehicle documentation accurately.
• Perform routine vehicle checks.

About the Role

The Delivery Technician delivers, sets up, and picks up durable medical equipment (DME) in patient homes. You will educate patients on basic equipment use and ensure safe operation while providing high‑quality customer service.

• Service radius up to 2 hours from the branch
• Salary Range $18.68 - $24.00 per hour
• Pay varies based on experience, skills, and location

What You’ll Do

• Safely lift, carry, and maneuver equipment ranging from 10 lbs – 160 lbs as part of daily deliveries and setups
• Deliver, set up, and pick up DME and supplies inside patient homes
• Provide clear, compassionate, professional instruction on equipment use
• Offer a high level of customer service and support to patients who may rely on this equipment for life‑sustaining needs
• Load and unload equipment from the delivery vehicle
• Respond to emergency delivery requests when needed
• Complete delivery logs, pickup forms, and vehicle documentation accurately
• Maintain supply components in patient profiles
• Assist with equipment cleaning and minor repairs
• Perform routine vehicle checks
• Support additional duties as assigned

Required

• Ability to lift, carry and maneuver equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. as part of daily deliveries and set‑ups
• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least one-year of related work experience is required
• 21 years of age or older
• Valid driver’s license
• Completion of Apria’s Driver Training Program
• English reading, writing, and speaking skills
