Job summary

The Delivery Technician position at Scientific Games Corporation will be responsible for the transport and delivery of lottery equipment to site locations within Ohio and will perform on-site service calls as assigned. This role requires regular travel, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to operate a non-CDL delivery truck.

Vital qualifications include the ability to troubleshoot computer software/hardware, strong communication skills, and a clean driving record.

  • Regular travel to customer locations for on-site work.
  • Ability to drive a non-CDL delivery truck.
  • Pass background check, DOT certification and drug test.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver and restock lottery equipment to site locations within the region.
  • Performs vehicle management functions as set forth in the motor vehicle policy.
  • Assists in installation, terminal removal, communication and peripheral procedures.
  • Maintain and secure all assigned tools, test equipment, terminals, parts and supplies prior to leaving site location.
  • Respond to and close all service calls as assigned.
  • Understand and use Smart Services.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Job description

The Delivery Technician position will be responsible for the transport and delivery of all lottery equipment to the various site locations within the State of Ohio, for their assigned region. This position will also complete service calls at a lottery retail location as assigned.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Job Duties
  • Responsible for the delivery and removal/restocking of all lottery equipment to the site locations within the region.
  • Performs vehicle management functions as set forth in the motor vehicle policy.
  • Assists in functions including installation, terminal removal, communication and peripheral procedures.
  • Responsible to maintain and secure all assigned tools, test equipment, terminals, parts and supplies prior to leaving site location.
  • Ability to respond and close all service calls as assigned.

Years of Related Experience
  • One year computer software/hardware troubleshooting experience preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude preferred
  • 1 year or more experience driving a box truck preferred.
