As a Delivery Team Lead on our Supply Chain Logistics team under City IT. In this role, you'll be part of a high-performing global team focused on driving efficiency, reliability, and innovation across our logistics operations. Essential Job Functions:

  • Lead and Develop the IT Delivery Team - Support, coach, and mentor team members, helping them grow both professionally and personally through regular one-to-ones and feedback.
  • Foster a Positive Team Environment - Champion a collaborative, inclusive, and empowering culture where wellbeing, psychological safety, and shared ownership are prioritized.
  • Improve Delivery Practices - Continuously evolve our agile processes and promote ways of working that support high performance, autonomy, and team confidence.
  • Drive Continuous Learning - Identify skill gaps, support personal development plans, and encourage learning opportunities in partnership with the Practice.
  • Facilitate Collaboration - Lead delivery workshops, retrospectives, and team activities to encourage reflection, knowledge sharing, and creative problem solving.
  • Support Change and Growth - Introduce process improvements that benefit the team and support recruitment and onboarding of new members as the team evolves.
  • Strengthen Stakeholder Relationships - Build and maintain trusted relationships across the business, acting as a key point of contact for delivery updates and team insights.
  • Champion Team Culture and Values - Be an advocate for our principles, embedding a no-blame mindset, celebrating success, and reinforcing a strong, shared team identity.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in IT people leadership, including coaching, performance management, and team development.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience overseeing the end-to-end delivery of multiple IT initiatives within a defined domain.
  • Proven success managing delivery teams and execution across complex business and tech programs.
  • Experience working across multiple delivery methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall, with a preference for Agile.
  • Confident facilitating delivery ceremonies, retrospectives, and collaborative workshops.
  • Experience introducing and evolving delivery processes, governance, and tooling standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in distributed teams across geographies (US and UK) and within ambiguous environments.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills to develop high-performing delivery teams.
  • Skilled at managing delivery across shifting priorities and competing demands.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to zoom out from day-to-day execution and focus on team development and delivery impact.
  • Effective communicator who builds trust and influence across business and technical stakeholders.
  • Proactive in identifying risks, removing blockers, and enabling team success.
  • Brings structure to delivery while maintaining flexibility and avoiding unnecessary complexity.
  • Champions a collaborative, inclusive team environment grounded in psychological safety.
  • Invested in continuous improvement, shared ownership, and team wellbeing.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and independently driving progress.
