Job summary

Troveo is seeking a Software Engineer, Delivery to own the reliability, performance, and scalability of our video content delivery infrastructure. This hands-on role spans data transport, distributed processing, and client integration layers, building fault-tolerant services for petabyte-scale video data.

You’ll collaborate with platform and ML teams, apply algorithms and concurrency fundamentals, and use Python/Go/Node.js to ship production-grade systems.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years in software engineering focusing on distributed systems, networking, or data infrastructure.
• Deep understanding of algorithms, data structures, and concurrency.
• Proven experience building systems interacting with OLAP and OLTP layers (Snowflake/BigQuery/Redshift and Postgres/MySQL).
• Strong proficiency in Python, Go, or Node.js for systems development.
• Familiarity with network programming (TCP/UDP, sockets) and high-throughput streaming data.
• Experience in distributed, data-heavy production environments with impactful results.
• Clear, pragmatic communication with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain delivery pipelines for large-scale video ingestion, transformation, and distribution.
• Optimize throughput, latency, and fault-tolerance across global data delivery.
• Implement monitoring, redundancy, and recovery for reliability at scale.
• Collaborate with platform and ML teams for smooth data handoffs into analytics, training, and indexing workflows.
