Job summary

HD Supply Management, LLC (USA) is seeking a delivery assistant to support drivers with customer orders, loading and unloading merchandise, and ensuring all safety procedures are followed. The role does not involve operating company or rental vehicles but requires teamwork in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

You will communicate with customers, provide proof of delivery, and resolve basic service issues while supporting general warehouse tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience in area of responsibility.
• CA, CO, CT, D.C., DE, HI, IL, MA, MD, ME, MN, NJ, NV, NY, OH, RI, VA, VT, WA applies.

Responsibilities

• Assists delivery drivers to ensure safe, accurate, efficient delivery of customer orders.
• Inspects deliveries prior to load for accuracy and damage free condition.
• Assists with loading and unloading merchandise using material handling equipment.
• Makes customer calls before and during delivery.
• Interfaces with customers regarding orders and provides proof of delivery.
• Relays escalated customer concerns to distribution center leadership.
• Provides professional customer service during deliveries.
• Performs general warehouse duties as needed.
