Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Sr. Station Leader for a Delivery Station in Maple Valley, WA to drive safety, quality and performance across operations 24/7.

You will lead a team of Operations, Area and Shift Managers, build leadership bench strength and coordinate with DSPs and partners to meet business goals. Required is a Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred) and 7+ years of direct management in logistics or distribution, with strong analytics and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 7+ years' direct management experience in logistics, fulfillment, or distribution.
• Track record of delivering performance and financial results under pressure.
• Experience with performance metrics and lean techniques.
• Experience with full lifecycle staffing and HR processes.
• Strong analytical capability and data-driven problem solving.
• Excellent communication skills in English, written and verbal.
• Experience managing third-party resources at regional/national scale.
• Experience managing contingent workforce during peak seasons.
• Ability to work varied hours including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for safety, quality, performance, customer experience and people development for all delivery station operations.
• Drives vision, quality initiatives, and lean improvements to meet/exceed business plans.
• Problem-solve to close gaps between performance and goals.
• Set clear requirements for Ops, Area and Shift Managers; measure performance and provide feedback.
• Manage relationships with DSPs and operate 24/7 with evolving volume.
• Present operational metrics to senior leadership.
• Hire and develop talent; create a talent plan including succession and engagement.
• Leverage managers to source ideas and drive improvement plans.
• Cultivate culture and engagement; share best practices across departments.
