Job summary

Amazon is seeking an experienced leader to oversee delivery station operations within a 50‑mile radius region. You will drive safety, quality and performance while developing a high‑performing team across multiple shifts and DSP relationships.

Responsibilities include setting expectations for Ops Managers, delivering lean initiatives, and presenting metrics to senior leaders. A Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of management in logistics or related fields are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 7+ years’ direct management experience in logistics or similar.
• Proven track record delivering performance and financial results.
• Experience with performance metrics and lean techniques.
• Experience with end-to-end staffing and talent management.
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven problem solving.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall safety, quality, performance, customer experience and people development for all delivery station operations.
• Drives vision for station team and creation of quality initiatives, process change initiatives and lean initiatives to meet business plan.
• Problem-solve for closing gaps between performance and goals.
• Set and clarify requirements for Operations, Area and Shift Managers; measure performance and hold managers accountable.
• Manage 24/7 delivery operations and relationships with multiple DSPs.
• Present operational metrics to the senior leadership team.
• Hire and develop top talent; create a talent plan including acquisition and development.
• Foster culture and engage teams across all levels of the delivery station.
