Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is hiring a delivery driver to transport products from our stores to customers using box and flat-bed trucks. You will ensure orders are complete, properly packed, and delivered safely to the correct customer.

Responsibilities include loading orders, maintaining the vehicle, providing excellent customer service, and adhering to routes and schedules while complying with transportation laws. Occasional warehouse duties may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
• Must hold a Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) from FMCSA or be willing to obtain within 5 business days of offer.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends.
• Must read and speak English sufficiently to interact with customers and complete records.

Responsibilities

• Ensure deliveries are prepared to meet customer requirements in the most efficient manner.
• Load customer orders properly on the truck.
• Load, transport, and deliver items to customers in a safe, timely manner.
• Maintain the store vehicle and alert the supervisor to repair and servicing needs.
• Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and handle complaints from customers.
• Adhere to assigned routes and follow time schedules.
• Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
• Operate equipment such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.
• Perform warehouse duties and other tasks like tinting and mixing customer orders.
