The Delivery Specialist will maintain and operate store vehicles to deliver parts and/or products to professional customers in a safe and efficient manner. This position will also collect money on C.O.D. deliveries and pick up customer returns.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers safely and efficiently.
2. Use delivery fleet management devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, update mileage, and complete vehicle inspections.
3. Keep vehicles clean, maintained, and perform daily inspections.
4. Secure vehicles, keys, fuel cards, devices, and collected monies at all times.
5. Pick up customer returns and fill out driver return slips.
6. Communicate customer issues or needs to store management.
7. Report vehicle maintenance needs or damages immediately.
8. Ensure the fuel tank is filled and vehicles are locked and secured at the end of the day.
9. Clock in/out as per company policy.
10. Perform additional duties such as customer service, stocking, merchandising, errands, and handling core returns.
11. Assist customers or serve as cashier when needed.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills/Education/Knowledge/Experience/Abilities:

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Adaptability to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet company standards (14/18-point system).
• Legally required driver’s license and eligibility to drive.

Desired:

• Knowledge of automotive parts.
• Ability to operate light store equipment.
• Multilingual fluency, especially in Spanish.
