Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a Delivery Route Driver in Tampa, FL. This full-time role starts early and runs Monday–Friday, with a focus on reliable service and safe, accurate deliveries to client locations.

You will load, transport, deliver and manage paperwork, while maintaining refrigeration and customer-friendly communication. The position rewards diligence with competitive pay and opportunities for growth within AVI's service network.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old to operate company vehicle.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to pass DOT Physical and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills; able to work independently.
• Effective communication with customers and AVI team members.

Responsibilities

• Load the vehicle with products required for locations.
• Transport products to client locations.
• Ensure refrigeration of cold foods in truck.
• Deliver to vending attendants at client locations.
• Collect products and paperwork from vending attendants.
• Discard unsold and stale merchandise.
• Maintain professional, positive communication with customers and team.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for a friendly and hard-working team member to fill the role of Delivery Route Driver, Full-time in Tampa, FL. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, start time at 5am.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure company vehicle is properly loaded with all product needed to service locations
• Drive vehicle to transport products and food to client locations
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in truck
• Deliver products and food to vending attendants at client locations
• Collect products and paperwork from vending attendants at client locations
• Discard unsold and stale merchandise
• Communicate positively with fellow team members and customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Manage the care of the company vehicle

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
• Valid driver’s license (a CDL is NOT required) and a good driving record
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Outgoing personality with the skills to promote products
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Ability to communicate effectively to customers and AVI team members
• Ability to work independently and utilize time efficiently
