Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a delivery route driver in Lexington, KY. You will load the route truck, transport products to client locations, and ensure cold-chain integrity throughout the ride.

You’ll interact with vending attendants, collect paperwork, and keep the vehicle clean while meeting delivery schedules. We offer comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities in a family-oriented culture.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle.
• Valid driver’s license (CDL not required) and a good driving record.
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Outgoing personality with the skills to promote products.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively to customers and AVI team members.
• Ability to work independently and utilize time efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Ensure company vehicle is properly loaded with all product needed to service locations.

• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in truck.
• Deliver products and food to vending attendants at client locations.

• Discard unsold and stale merchandise.
• Communicate positively with fellow team members and customers by making eye contact and smiling.
• Manage the care of the company vehicle.
