Job summary

SGMC Health Careers is seeking a Labor and Delivery Tech/Scrub Tech for the Main Campus. This full-time role covers a 12-hour night shift from 7p to 7a in the Labor and Delivery department.

You will assist RNs and LPNs, perform procedures, and manage equipment and supplies. A Surgical Technician program, CPR certification, and healthcare experience are preferred. On-the-job training and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Completion of Surgical Technician education program required.
• Phlebotomy and/or Healthcare Specialist experience preferred.
• Current Healthcare Provider CPR Certification.
• General office skills and medical terminology preferred.
• General computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care and assists with ADLs.
• Assists RNs & LPNs with patient care procedures.
• Performs and assists with procedures.
• Assists with equipment/supply maintenance.
• Performs complex clerical duties.
• Performs role of Labor & Delivery Tech/Scrub Tech.
