Job summary

Sutter Health's MMC-Memorial Medical Center is seeking a Surgical Tech to support labor and delivery teams during routine, emergency, or cesarean deliveries. You will prepare sterile fields, set up instruments, assist surgeons, and help ensure privacy and safety across procedures.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED and graduation from an accredited surgical technology program.
• BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification.
• 1 year of recent relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sterile field for labor and delivery and set up sterile instruments.
• Assist surgeons in gowning, gloving, passing instruments, and draping patients.
• Support department operations, distribute supplies, and maintain equipment.
• Adhere to aseptic technique and privacy/safety regulations during procedures.
