Job summary

Temple Health is seeking a Delivery Room Technician for the TUH Women and Families Campus. This part-time, 16-hour weekly night shift role supports obstetric care by performing patient care and surgical scrub duties, organizing the environment, maintaining equipment, and assisting with delivery room procedures to ensure safety and comfort for patients.

Qualified candidates will have a Trade School Surgical Technician program or an equivalent education/experience combination, with 1 year of labor

Qualifications

• Trade School Surgical Technician program or equivalent required.
• 1 year experience in Labor and Delivery or OR scrub preferred.
• Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient care and surgical scrub duties in the obstetric department.
• Maintains organization of environment and equipment; assists with delivery room procedures.
• Performs 1:1 duties on all units and PCA duties on other units as needed.
