Job summary

Comfort Plus Services is seeking a Propane Delivery Driver to join our team in Galena, MD. You will safely operate a propane delivery vehicle, deliver to customer locations, and uphold safety, sales, and excellent customer service standards.

Required CDL with Hazmat, Tanker, and Air Brakes endorsements, plus a Hazmat license and a minimum of 2 years of CDL experience. You must pass a DOT physical and background checks; lifting cylinders is required.

Qualifications

• CDL with Hazmat and tanker endorsements required.
• Minimum 2 years of CDL driving experience.

• Ability to pass DOT physical and drug test.
• Ability to lift cylinders 40–50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver propane to customer locations safely.

$2,000 Sign-On Bonus available to experienced LP Delivery Drivers who can independently perform propane deliveries upon hire.

The Propane Delivery Driver position requires an individual to safely drive a propane delivery vehicle to customer locations.This position also requires someone with a positive and enthusiastic attitude toward Safety, Sales, customer Service and Employee Team-Work. Making deliveries in all type of weather and conditions. Overtime is possible in the heating season.

• Responsible for achieving delivery objectives set forth by the local District Manager.
• Inspect vehicle daily and report any problems in accordance with company policy and DOT regulations.
• This position requires an individual to safely drive a propane delivery vehicle to our customer locations.
• This position also requires someone with a positive and enthusiastic attitude toward Safety, Sales, Customer Service and Employee Team-Work.
• Prior gas delivery experience helpful
• CDL Hazmat, tanker, and air brakes endorsements required.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather and driving conditions
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with existing and potential customers
• Flexibility to work outside of basic job description
• Excellent customer service skills
• Desire to succeed and advance in a team environment
• Ability to pass pre-employment DOT physical, drug test and Homeland Security Background Check.
• Good interpersonal skills and willingness to take direction from plant manager.
• Valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with a Hazmat endorsement and Tanker endorsement.
• Employee must be capable of frequently lifting cylinders weighing 40-50 pounds.
• Ability to pass pre-employment DOT physical, drug test and Homeland Security Background Check.
• Must have a Hazmat license.
• Minimum 2-year CDL license.
