Job summary

The Honickman Companies seeks a Delivery Supervisor for our Salisbury, MD office to ensure reliable delivery of scheduled products, manage drivers, and address customer delivery issues. You will collaborate with Sales, Dispatch, and Warehouse teams to optimize routes and performance.

Qualifications include a business/marketing degree or 7 years in delivery/sales leadership, CDL/DOT, and proficiency in MS Office; you will guide a union delivery team and uphold policies while driving operational

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or closely related field.
7 years of directly applicable experience as a delivery driver, sales representative and/or sales manager.
MS Office proficiency (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
CDL/DOT card and a valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with Sales and Dispatch to ensure dependable delivery service.
Maximize delivery efficiencies by meeting daily case targets and daily customer stop targets.
Schedule personnel and supervise drivers, including check-in/check-out procedures.
Investigate and resolve driver and customer issues; respond to all driver issues.
Interact with Warehouse/Dispatch/Sales to resolve issues and communicate policies.
Maintain daily performance logs and report loading results.
Inspect vehicles/equipment and document accidents or injuries.
Recruit, hire, and manage performance for delivery/sales teams in a union environment.
