Job summary

Staples Logistics is seeking a Delivery Operations Supervisor in Houston to lead the team in ensuring on-time delivery of all orders and to plan headcount to meet daily, weekly, and monthly goals. You’ll collaborate with senior management to drive operational excellence and improve department processes while coaching associates and maintaining safety standards.

You will play a critical role in fostering teamwork, driving productivity, and delivering customer satisfaction, with duties including

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of transportation experience.
• Valid Driver's License with a safe driving history.
• DOT physical and drug screen required.
• Must obtain a 6-month DOT medical card.
• Lift up to 70 pounds.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team to ensure timely, complete delivery of all orders and meet daily/weekly/monthly goals.
• Work with senior management to pursue operational excellence and overall facility success.
• Recommend improvements to department processes and procedures; participate in hiring, training and coaching of associates.
• Use operational reports to evaluate performance and ensure expectations are met.
• Uphold safety practices and promote a strong safety culture.
