Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year of related work experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

• Clerical, word processing, and/or office skills.
• Mechanical aptitude to assemble furniture pieces.
• Awareness of loss prevention, security and safety guidelines.
• Good communication skills and teamwork ability.
• Basic English language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manages the shipment and routing of outbound freight to ensure cost-efficient and timely delivery.
• Research transportation methods, evaluating cost and performance with stakeholders and carriers.
• Handles and resolves escalated customer service issues directly with the customer.
• Investigates and resolves issues related to damages, shortages, and overages.
• Rotates through departments to meet business demands.
• Participates in training regarding technology upgrades and new systems.
• Coordinates meetings between cross-dock, stores, drivers and DC to maintain service.
• Trains and monitors third-party contractors on delivery procedures and compliance.
• Promotes teamwork by working safely, effectively, respectfully and efficiently with all associates.
• Ensures all customers are provided with exceptional service.
• Performs all tasks assigned by leadership to meet daily productivity and quality goals.
