Job summary

Taylor Metal Products, a leading manufacturer of steel roofing and siding, is seeking a Dispatcher to coordinate deliveries of materials, supplies, and services. The role focuses on timely scheduling, route optimization, and ensuring customer satisfaction while maintaining safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years of external delivery driver experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and forklift certification (to be provided in-house).

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent preferred.
• Basic math skills.
• Written communication skills.
• Reading skills.
• 2-5 yr external delivery driver exp. preferred.
• Forklift certification required (will certify in-house).

Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch delivery vehicles to customer locations.
• Coordinate deliveries and manage routes to ensure on-time service.
• Relay work orders and updates between drivers, supervisors, sales, and customers.
• Maintain dispatch records, customer requests, and service details.
• Assist with communicating traffic hazards and service interruptions.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
