Job summary

Interstate Battery System of America Inc is seeking a route sales representative in Texas to service and expand an assigned set of customers along a predefined route. You will sell batteries, rotate stock, and maintain dealer relationships while ensuring timely documentation and core collection.

This role requires a valid CDL with a clean driving record, strong customer service and communication skills, and at least 2 years of sales/delivery experience.

Qualifications

• Must possess current CDL and have clean driving record.
• Prior sales experience highly desirable.
• Good communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Current, valid state driver's license.
• Ability to read, write and compute basic math.
• Minimum 2 years demonstrated sales, customer service and delivery experience.

Responsibilities

• Sell new batteries to National Account dealers.
• Rotate batteries and collect cores.
• Maintain the route by keeping displays clean and keeping dealer list up to date.
• Service each National Account dealer.
• Establish, build and maintain good dealer relationships.
• Complete documentation on a timely basis.
• Collect and return junk and/or used batteries to Distributorship.
