Your Health Organization is seeking a Delivery Medical Associate to service patients in the designated [LOCATION] area. Responsibilities include safely operating a delivery vehicle, transporting durable medical equipment, and providing setup and basic client instruction at healthcare facilities and in patients' homes.

The role requires a valid driver's license, ability to lift heavy equipment, strong communication, and a focus on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Experience in the delivery of medical equipment is a plus. Ability to lift and move heavy equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with basic maintenance tasks for delivery vehicles.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
• Team player with ability to manage multiple responsibilities and demonstrate sound judgment.
• Must be able to work flexible hours and travel between offices, facilities, etc.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport Durable Medical Equipment.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
• Load and unload durable medical equipment onto and from the delivery vehicle.
• Ensure that equipment is secured properly to prevent damage during transportation.
• Verify and document the condition of equipment upon delivery and return.
• Install and set up durable medical equipment at healthcare facilities and patient’s residences.
• Ensure proper functioning and placement of installed equipment.
• Provide basic instructions to clients on the initial use of installed equipment.
• Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
• Coordinate with the dispatch team to receive delivery schedules and updates.
• Instruct clients on the proper use and care of the delivered medical equipment.
• Address customer inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures, delivery times, and any equipment-related documentation.
