Job summary

Your Health Organization is seeking a Delivery Medical Associate (Driver) to service patients in the [LOCATION] area. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient transport of durable medical equipment to healthcare facilities and patients' residences, ensuring timely delivery and top-notch customer service.

Delivery Associates perform visits in homes and facilities (ALF and ILF's) in their designated service area. You must have reliable transportation as travel is required daily.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience in the delivery of medical equipment is a plus.
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with basic maintenance tasks for delivery vehicles.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Must be able to work flexible hours and travel between offices, facilities, etc.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport Durable Medical Equipment.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
• Load and unload durable medical equipment onto and from the delivery vehicle.
• Ensure that equipment is secured properly to prevent damage during transportation.
• Verify and document the condition of equipment upon delivery and return.
• Install and set up durable medical equipment at healthcare facilities and patient’s residences.
• Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
• Coordinate with the dispatch team to receive delivery schedules and updates.
• Instruct clients on the proper use and care of the delivered medical equipment.
• Address customer inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.
