Job summary

Your Health Organization is seeking a Delivery Medical Associate (Driver) to serve patients in the [LOCATION] area. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient transport of durable medical equipment to healthcare facilities and patients' residences, ensuring timely delivery and high standards of safety and customer service.

This full-time, salary-based role requires reliable transportation, daily travel between offices and facilities, and the ability to lift heavy equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience in medical equipment delivery is a plus.
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance tasks.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Team player with ability to manage multiple responsibilities and sound judgment.
• Must be able to work flexible hours and travel between offices and facilities.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport Durable Medical Equipment.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
• Load and unload durable medical equipment onto and from the delivery vehicle.
• Ensure equipment is secured properly to prevent damage during transportation.
• Verify and document the condition of equipment upon delivery and return.
• Install and set up durable medical equipment at healthcare facilities and patient residences.
• Provide basic instructions to clients on the initial use of installed equipment.
• Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
• Coordinate with the dispatch team to receive delivery schedules and updates.
• Instruct clients on the proper use and care of the delivered medical equipment.
• Address customer inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures, delivery times, and any equipment-related documentation.
