Job summary

Xebia is a leading software engineering and IT consultancy that helps top global companies drive digital transformation. The Delivery Manager role oversees end-to-end technology projects, coordinating software implementations, infrastructure upgrades, and governance across stakeholders.

You will manage cross-functional teams and vendor relationships, apply PM best practices with tools like Jira and Azure DevOps, and drive post-implementation improvements while ensuring on-time, on-budget

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field plus five years of relevant experience in software/project delivery.
  • Experience as Software Engineer, Project Manager, or Delivery Manager or related role.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end technology projects including software implementations, infrastructure upgrades, and digital transformations.
  • Develop project charters, work plans, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Direct cross-functional teams of software engineers, business analysts, and vendors.
  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and performance metrics.
  • Coordinate and facilitate project governance meetings with IT and business stakeholders.
  • Implement project management best practices using MS Project, Jira, or Azure DevOps.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between IT leadership, end-users, and external partners.
  • Lead post-implementation evaluations to identify improvements.

Education

About the job:
Position:

Delivery Manager

Duties:
  • Lead and oversee end-to-end technology projects—including software implementation, infrastructure upgrades, and digital transformation initiatives—ensuring on-time, within-scope, and on-budget delivery.
  • Develop detailed project charters, work plans, and risk mitigation strategies to manage dependencies, technical challenges, and resource allocation effectively.
  • Direct cross-functional teams of software engineers, business analysts, and vendors in the design, development, and deployment of enterprise technology solutions.
  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and performance metrics to ensure alignment with technical specifications, SLAs, and compliance standards.
  • Coordinate and facilitate project governance meetings and technical status reviews, ensuring transparency, accountability, and alignment with IT and business stakeholders.
  • Implement project management best practices, leveraging tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or Azure DevOps to track deliverables, milestones, and KPIs.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between IT leadership, end-users, and external partners, providing progress updates, risk assessments, and strategic recommendations.
  • Lead post-implementation evaluations to assess system performance, identify process improvements, and inform future technology initiatives.
Minimum Requirements:

Education and Experience : Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any branch), Information Technology, Systems/Technology Management or Computer/Management Information Systems plus five (5) years of experience as Software Engineer, Software Developer, Computer Systems/Application Analyst, Project Manager, Delivery Manager or related position. Foreign education equivalent accepted.

Offered Wage:

$131,456.00 per year + insurance (medical, dental, and vision), short & long term disability, PTO (flexible time off), 401K and HSA.
