Job summary

Endava in the United States Colorado is seeking a Project Analyst to support the delivery of technology projects, focusing on maintaining financial health and operational effectiveness.

You will forecast, track time and expenses, analyze costs, and produce regular project reporting to keep initiatives on time, on budget, and aligned with quality standards.

Collaborate with project managers, analysts, and administrators to document decisions and improve processes across teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and progressive professional experience.
  • 2-4 years of experience in financial analysis, project support, project coordination, or similar analytical roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret project and financial data.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Project and Resource Managers to track, forecast, and report team hours, project costs, and expenses.
  • Monitor project financials and identify invoicing, forecasting, or budget-related issues.
  • Support management of project scope, change control, risks, issues, and actions.
  • Research, collect, and analyze project data to track KPIs and financial metrics.
  • Prepare regular reporting on budgets, forecasts, and resource utilization.
  • Develop clear, engaging presentations to communicate project status and outcomes.

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Project Analyst to join our IT team and support the successful delivery of technology projects. In this role, you will work closely with Project Managers and Resource Managers, with a particular focus on maintaining the financial health and operational effectiveness of assigned projects.

You will support accurate forecasting, time and expense tracking, cost analysis, project reporting, and day-to-day project governance. Through effective analysis, coordination, and communication, you will help ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the expected quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with Project and Resource Managers to track, forecast, and report team hours, project costs, and expenses.
  • Monitor project financials and proactively identify and elevate invoicing, forecasting, or budget-related issues.
  • Support the day-to-day management and execution of assigned projects, including scope, change control, risks, issues, action items, and key decisions.
  • Research, collect, and analyze project data to track key performance and financial metrics.
  • Prepare regular reporting on project budgets, forecasts, resource utilization, and other management requirements.
  • Identify trends and insights from project data and recommend opportunities to improve processes and project performance.
  • Facilitate project and team meetings, ensuring actions, decisions, risks, and follow-up items are clearly documented and communicated.
  • Develop clear, engaging, and well-organized presentations to communicate project status, financial performance, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders.
  • Support Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Project Administrators with the development and maintenance of project documentation.
  • Assist with project concept documents, process flows, project schedules, and other project management artifacts.
  • Maintain accurate and timely project information across relevant collaboration and project management tools.
Qualifications
  • 2-4 years of experience in financial analysis, project support, project coordination, project administration, or a similar analytical role.
  • Good understanding of IT systems, technology projects, and the project delivery lifecycle.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret project and financial data and communicate meaningful insights.
  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to organize, analyze, and report complex project and financial data.
  • Intermediate proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and maintain process flow documentation.
  • Basic experience developing and maintaining project schedules.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and project activities.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate with project teams, managers, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across project, resource management, business, and technical teams.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Teams, and SharePoint is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and progressively responsible professional experience.

  • Participation in both internal meetings and external meetings via video calls, as necessary.

  • Prolonged periods of remaining stationary at a desk and working on a computer, as necessary.
  • Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and reach overhead, as necessary.
  • Hand-eye coordination necessary to operate computers and various pieces of office equipment, as necessary.
  • Vision abilities including close vision, toleration of fluorescent lighting, and adjusting focus, as necessary.
  • For positions that require business travel and/or event attendance, ability to lift 25 lbs, as necessary.
