Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc. in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Delivery Helper to load, locate job sites, back, prepare and restore the job site, and prep the truck for the next day while maintaining the truck and equipment.

You will ensure compliance with OSHA and DOT guidelines, perform pre-trip inspections, safely unload and deliver materials to the customer, secure loads, and navigate routes to the job site.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and communicate information accurately.
• Stamina to lift at least 75 lbs. in order to carry materials, such as drywall materials and joint compound.

Responsibilities

• Compliance with company, state and federal guidelines (OSHA and DOT) for safety.
• Perform pre-trip inspections of equipment, paperwork and loaded product to ensure accuracy of order.
• Safely unload product and deliver to the assigned area as directed by the customer.
• Secure mud, equipment, metal, and pallet on truck.
• Navigate routes to the job site.
