Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc. in Lancaster, CA is seeking a Delivery Helper to load, locate job sites, back up, prepare and restore the job site, and prep the truck for the next day while keeping equipment in good condition.

You will follow OSHA/DOT guidelines, perform pre-trip inspections, safely unload and deliver materials, and navigate routes to the job site, working both independently and with the team to meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and communicate information accurately.
• Stamina to lift at least 75 lbs to carry materials.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and on a team.
• Ability to self-manage, show initiative and drive results.
• Communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload product and deliver to assigned area as directed by the customer.
• Navigate routes to the job site.
• Perform pre-trip inspections of equipment, paperwork and loaded product.
• Secure mud, equipment, metal, and pallet on truck.
• Maintain safety compliance with OSHA/DOT guidelines.
