Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc. is seeking a Delivery Helper to support loading, locating job sites, backing, preparing and restoring the job site, and getting the truck ready for the next day while maintaining equipment.

This role requires safe operation and adherence to safety guidelines, with a focus on efficient delivery and site readiness. Daily duties include unloading materials, securing loads, navigating to job sites, and communicating clearly with customers and management.

Qualifications

• Able to read, write and communicate information accurately.
• Stamina to lift at least 75 lbs to carry materials such as drywall and joint compound.
• Demonstrates trust, integrity and servant leadership in a non-management role.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; establish relationships across the organization.
• Self-manage, take initiative, be proactive and drive results.
• Communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing, with coworkers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Follow company, state and federal guidelines (OSHA/DOT) for safety; perform pre-trip inspections of equipment and paperwork.
• Safely unload product and deliver to the assigned area as directed by the customer.
• Secure mud, equipment, metal and pallet on the truck; navigate routes to the job site.
