Job summary

Sysco in the United States is seeking a Delivery Helper to assist unloading and checking the quality of produced goods at customer locations. You will help drive to different sites with the driver, verify orders, and communicate any issues such as shorts while maintaining safety and efficiency.

The role requires ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 80 pounds occasionally, in a cold warehouse environment. Training on safety rules and pre-trip inspections will be provided.

Qualifications

• Must have High School or GED or equivalent.
• Experience with handcart and electric pallet jack.
• Ability to communicate clearly and perform basic arithmetic.
• Know the product delivery schedule.
• Ensure product quality and proper rotation.

Responsibilities

• Unload and check the quality products at a customer location, rotate and check the quality of produce.
• Driving to different locations to assist the driver with deliveries.
• Calls in when a customer does not receive their entire order (shorts).
• Handles any customer complaints professionally.
• Handles company equipment properly, follow written driver safety rules and performs a pre-trip inspection.
