Job summary

The ODPGroup is seeking a Delivery Lead to oversee Delivery Specialists and back-up drivers, ensuring timely, accurate deliveries and strong customer service. This role requires hands-on guidance, coaching, and coordination to keep routes balanced and compliant with DOT standards.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of leadership in delivery or route driving, a valid CDL if required, and proficiency with LEAN practices, MS Word, and MS Excel. Office Depot/OfficeMax experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 3 years experience in related field.
• Delivery experience and supervisory or leadership preferred.
• Valid driver license and DOT qualifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide training and coaching to Delivery Specialists.
• Assist with vehicle safety and route design and dispatch.
• Communicate customer feedback to supervision.
• Support LEAN initiatives and process improvements.
• Ensure completion of required paperwork and reports.
• Conduct driver safety checks and follow-up training.
• Perform as route back-up driver when needed.
• Adhere to standard operating procedures and safety.
