Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc. in Kalamazoo, MI is seeking a Delivery Helper to load, locate job sites, back and prepare the job site, and prepare the truck for the following day. You will unload and deliver materials, secure loads, and maintain truck and equipment while following safety protocols.

Ideal candidates will be able to read and write effectively, handle up to 75 lbs, and work well both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced delivery environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and communicate information accurately.
• Stamina to lift at least 75 lbs. to carry materials such as drywall materials and joint compound.

Responsibilities

• Compliance with OSHA/DOT safety guidelines for all personnel.
• Perform pre-trip inspections of equipment, paperwork and loaded product to ensure order accuracy.
• Safely unload product and deliver to the assigned area as directed by the customer.
• Secure mud, equipment, metal, and pallets on the truck.
• Navigate routes to the job site and ensure timely deliveries.
