Job summary

QXO is hiring a loading/delivery helper at our Hayward, CA branch to unload building products and assist with outdoor deliveries. The role requires reliability, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety.

• Assist roof loader with ground drop operations when rooftop delivery isn’t feasible.
• Verify order contents before loading onto the delivery truck.
• Support delivery operations at the branch or job site.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and wear PPE at all times.

What you’ll do:

• Safely unload building products and multiple bundles of shingles from conveyor boom from first or second story rooftop
• In certain instances where rooftop delivery is not feasible, the roof loader will provide support to the driver by assisting with ground drop operations at the designated job site
• Verify order contents prior to loading them onto the delivery truck
• Assist with delivery operations
• Demonstrate a daily commitment to safety and adhere diligently to all safety protocols, while always wearing appropriate PPE
