Job summary

QXO is seeking a delivery/loader to safely unload building products and assist with delivery operations at our Hayward branch. You will verify orders, support ground or rooftop loading, and uphold safety protocols in an outdoor, physically demanding environment.

Candidates should have reliable transportation, good attention to detail, and ideally Spanish skills. We offer comprehensive benefits and on-the-job training to support career growth.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload building products and bundles from rooftop or ground delivery points.
• Assist with ground drop operations when rooftop delivery is not feasible.
• Verify order contents before loading onto the delivery truck.
• Assist with overall delivery operations.
• Maintain daily safety practices and wear appropriate PPE.

What You’ll Do

• Safely unload building products and multiple bundles of shingles from conveyor boom from first or second story rooftop
• In certain instances where rooftop delivery is not feasible, the roof loader will provide support to the driver by assisting with ground drop operations at the designated job site
• Verify order contents prior to loading them onto the delivery truck
• Assist with delivery operations
• Demonstrate a daily commitment to safety and adhere diligently to all safety protocols, while always wearing appropriate PPE
