Job summary

Mixpanel is seeking a Delivery Engineer II in the SF Bay Area to own onboarding and data health for strategic clients, ensuring data trust and successful integration of Mixpanel into customers’ data stacks. You will lead first-time setup, advise on architectures, and drive AI workflow integrations within the data ecosystem.

You will collaborate with GTM and customer teams, applying your deep analytics and data engineering knowledge to deliver on-time, value-oriented onboarding and scalable data

Qualifications

• Comfortable with data querying, modeling, and transforming in at least one core tool such as SQL, dbt, Python or BI tools.
• Familiar with databases and cloud data warehouses like Google Cloud, Redshift, Azure, etc.
• Familiar with product analytics implementation methods (SDKs, CDPs, Event Streaming, Reverse ETL).

Responsibilities

• Own onboarding and data health for strategic and high-value clients, including data quality and tech stack integration.
• Align with pre-sales teams to define business goals and metrics guiding data architecture and project outcomes.
• Engage with customers’ engineering, product, and marketing teams to handle technical onboarding and optimize deployments.
• Deliver technical services from data architecture consultations to adoption and change management best practices.
• Create scalable data governance practices and data trust through optimization and re-implementation projects.
• Balance project timelines, scope creep, and issues while delivering results on time.
• Collaborate with technical and solutions partners on data optimization and onboarding projects.
• Be a technical sponsor for internal engagements with Mixpanel product and engineering teams to prioritize tasks.
• Build AI automations to help customers manage their data at scale.
• Consult with customers on integrating their agentic workflows with Mixpanel data.
