Atlantic Blue Water Services is seeking a dependable, hardworking Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate to join our growing team. This position plays an important role in supporting our technicians, branches, and customers by ensuring water treatment products, parts, equipment, and supplies are delivered safely, accurately, and on time.
The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. This position combines driving and delivery responsibilities with warehouse organization, inventory support, and general facility duties.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Safely deliver water softener salt and other products to residential and commercial customers throughout the company's service area
Make deliveries and transfers of parts, equipment, and supplies between Atlantic Blue Water Services branches and other company locations
Deliver parts and materials to technicians at customer job sites as needed
Load, unload, transport, and properly secure products, equipment, and materials
Verify delivery orders and ensure accurate products and quantities are delivered
Obtain required delivery documentation and maintain accurate records
Assist with receiving, organizing, stocking, and maintaining inventory
Help maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety throughout warehouse and stock-holding locations
Assist technicians and other team members with locating, loading, and preparing parts and materials
Perform routine vehicle inspections and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns
Maintain a clean and professional company vehicle
Follow all company safety procedures, DOT requirements, traffic laws, and applicable regulations
Provide professional and courteous service to customers and team members
Perform other warehouse, delivery, and operational duties as assigned
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Valid driver's license with a safe and acceptable driving record
Minimum of 3 years of driving experience preferred
Ability to meet Atlantic Blue Water Services' driving and insurance requirements
Must be eligible to operate company vehicles
Ability to successfully pass a DOT physical examination and meet applicable DOT requirements, when required for the assigned vehicle
Previous delivery, warehouse, inventory, or material-handling experience preferred, but not required
Basic organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage assigned routes and deliveries efficiently
Dependable attendance and a strong commitment to safety
Ability to accurately complete delivery paperwork and use basic mobile technology as required
This is an active, physically demanding position. The employee must be able to:
Regularly lift, carry, push, pull, and move products, materials, and equipment weighing 50 pounds or more
Repeatedly load and unload water softener salt, parts, and other materials throughout the workday
Stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach for extended periods
Safely climb in and out of company vehicles and access delivery and warehouse areas
Use hand trucks, dollies, carts, and other material-handling equipment safely
Work in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments and weather conditions
Perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday
Work in customer homes, warehouses, stock rooms, and other company or job-site locations
Because driving is an essential function of this position, candidates must:
Maintain a valid driver's license throughout employment
Maintain an acceptable motor vehicle record in accordance with company standards and applicable insurance requirements
Be able to safely operate assigned company vehicles
Follow all traffic laws and company vehicle safety policies
Successfully complete any required motor vehicle record checks
Meet all applicable DOT physical and qualification requirements for vehicles operated as part of the position
Employment may be contingent upon successfully meeting the company's driving and insurance requirements.
