Job summary

SHEARER SUPPLY, LLC in Gainesville, FL is seeking a Warehouse/Delivery Driver to perform daily HVAC equipment deliveries from branch locations to customers and other branches. The role also supports warehousing when not delivering.

You will unload/load equipment, ensure timely deliveries, maintain a clean truck and warehouse, and uphold DOT regulations while providing excellent customer service to customers and vendors.

Qualifications

• DOT Medical Card is required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of related experience.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Must be willing to drive on interstate highways for deliveries.
• Must pass all pre-employment screens.
• Assist in the warehouse as needed.

The Warehouse/Delivery Driver is responsible for daily delivery and transportation of HVAC goods and materials from our Branch locations to customers, vendors, and other Sales Center locations. In addition to making deliveries, this role involves maintaining and operating the warehouse during downtime.

Warehouse/Delivery Driver Responsibilities

• Deliver product to customers in an efficient, timely, courteous and accurate manner
• Maintain clean delivery truck and warehouse
• Treat customers with respect and provide excellent customer experience

• Ability to reach, bend, twist, kneel, crouch or crawl
• Ability to operate heavy machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment
