Job summary

Weathertech Distributing Company, Inc. is seeking an on-site delivery and warehouse associate to support HVAC supply operations. The role involves transporting materials with a large truck, handling shipping/receiving, and fulfilling orders with accuracy and care.

Candidates should be self-motivated with strong organizational skills and the ability to operate a sit-down forklift. Prior warehouse/delivery experience is preferred, with a readiness to take on extra duties as needed.

• Education level required: High School or equivalent.
• Experience: 1-2 years.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate up to a 26ft truck.
• Self-managed with excellent work habits.
• Apply good organizational and time management skills on delivery route and in the warehouse.
• Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking in merchandise.
• Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area; loan and unload your vehicle.
• Drive and operate a sit-down forklift.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized truck and warehouse.
• Verify loads to customer invoice when loading and unloading at customer’s location.
• Establishes and maintains good customer relations.
• Performs routine inspections of vehicles and supplies to ensure road safety.
• Be willing to accept additional job duties when required.

Job description

Perform the product delivery, warehouse, shipping and receiving functions for a HVAC supply store. This is a knowledge building position leading to Counter Sales.

Essential duties and responsibilities

• Ability to drive and operate a sit-down forklift


• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized truck and warehouse

• Prepares and maintains records in accordance with company policies and procedures; ensures manifest are complete and accurate

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education Level: High School or equivalent.

Experience: 1-2 Years

Physical demands and abilities

• Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear


• Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs.


• Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl


• Seated for delivery periods on daily truck routes


• Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
