Job summary

Third Coast Distributing is seeking a Delivery Driver to provide reliable, customer-focused service while delivering parts to locations in South and Central Texas. You will maintain delivery logs and follow safety policies as you support store operations.

The role requires at least 2 years of driving experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license. CDL is not required; occasional travel between stores is expected.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years driving experience.
• Familiarity with automotive parts is desired but not required.
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age or older.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of cataloging and/or inventory management systems is a plus.
• Good organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
• Frequent travel between locations by vehicle; must possess and maintain a current, valid driver’s license.
• Local, customer-focused delivery experience.
• CDL is not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer experiences while meeting customers during deliveries.
• Drive a delivery vehicle to transport parts and products to customers, including loading and unloading parts.
• Pick up parts from other stores or outside vendors and ensure stock room parts are accurately stocked and inventory is maintained.
• Maintain a distribution log or tracking system for deliveries/pickups.
• Maintain the delivery truck per safety checklists and keep it clean.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs to the store manager.
• Drive safely and defensively, following all safety policies.
• Follow all company policies, dress code and management direction.

About The Role:

OurDelivery Drivers are the key to our success, delivering excellent customerexperiences and developing long-standing relationships with our customers. Positionreports to the Store Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide outstanding customer experiences while meeting customersduring deliveries.
• Drive adelivery vehicle to transport parts and products to customers, includingthe loading and unloading of parts.
• Pick upparts from other stores or outside vendors, ensure stock room parts areaccurately stocked and maintain/check inventory.
• Maintain adistribution log or tracking system to record all deliveries/pickups made.
• Maintainstore delivery truck through adherence to safety checklists, ensuringvehicle is clean, and that basic maintenance is done (e.g., correct tirepressure).
• Report vehicle maintenance needs immediately to store manager.
• Drive safely and defensively, adhering to all company safetystandards.
• Follows allcompany policies, procedures, dress code and management direction,including all fleet and safety policies.

About You:

The idealcandidate will have the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• A minimum of 2years’ driving experience.
• Familiarity with automotive parts is desired but not required.

EssentialPhysical Requirements

• Scan,handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequentlylifting or moving merchandise up to 15 pounds and occasionally lifting ormoving merchandise up to 60 pounds.
