Job summary

Third Coast Distributing is seeking a Delivery Driver to serve customers across South Texas by delivering automotive parts and related products. You will handle loading and unloading and ensure accurate deliveries. This non-exempt role reports to the Store Manager and requires at least 2 years of driving experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver's license.

CDL is not required. You will frequently travel between locations, use inventory systems, and uphold safety

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years’ driving experience.
• Familiarity with automotive parts is desired but not required.
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age or older.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of cataloging and/or inventory management systems is a plus.
• Frequent travel between locations by vehicle; must possess and maintain a current, valid driver’s license.
• Local, customer-focused delivery experience.
• CDL is not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer experiences while meeting customers during deliveries.
• Drive a delivery vehicle to transport parts and products to customers, including loading and unloading of parts.
• Pick up parts from other stores or outside vendors, ensure stock room parts are accurately stocked and maintain/check inventory.
• Maintain a distribution log or tracking system to record all deliveries/pickups made.
• Maintain store delivery truck through adherence to safety checklists, ensuring vehicle is clean, and that basic maintenance is done (e.g., correct tire pressure).
• Report vehicle maintenance needs immediately to store manager.
• Drive safely and defensively, adhering to all company safety standards.
• Follows all company policies, procedures, dress code and management direction, including all fleet and safety policies.

About The Role:

OurDelivery Drivers are the key to our success, delivering excellent customerexperiences and developing long-standing relationships with our customers. Positionreports to the Store Manager.

About You:

The idealcandidate will have the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

EssentialPhysical Requirements

• Scan,handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequentlylifting or moving merchandise up to 15 pounds and occasionally lifting ormoving merchandise up to 60 pounds.
