Job summary

Delaware Valley Floral Group is seeking a Delivery Driver to safely transport fresh floral products to customers across Virginia, including Norfolk, Williamsburg, Fredericksburg, Charlottesville, Richmond, Suffolk, and Lynchburg. Operate a 16-foot refrigerated box truck and ensure on-time, accurate deliveries with excellent customer service.

You must have a valid driver’s license (CDL not required), be 21+, lift up to 60 pounds, and use maps/GPS to navigate routes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional driving experience with a commercial vehicle.
• Valid driver's license; DOT medical certification; CDL not required.
• Must be 21 years or older and able to lift up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 16-foot refrigerated box truck following safety and DOT requirements.
• Deliver fresh flowers and related products to Virginia customers on assigned routes.
• Provide professional customer service and build positive customer relationships.
• Load/unload products using appropriate equipment; ensure accurate, on-time deliveries.

This position plays a key role in ensuring our customers receive their products on time and in excellent condition while providing a high level of customer service.What You’ll DoSafely operate a 16-foot refrigerated box truck while following company, safety, and DOT requirements.Deliver fresh flowers and related products to customers throughout assigned Virginia routes, including the Norfolk, Williamsburg, Fredericksburg, Charlottesville, Richmond, Suffolk, and Lynchburg areas.Ensure deliveries are completed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.Provide professional, courteous customer service and build positive relationships with customers.Load and unload products safely using appropriate equipment and handling practices.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe delivery vehicle and report equipment or maintenance concerns.Navigate assigned routes using maps, GPS, and other available tools to support efficient delivery.Partner with the warehouse and distribution team to ensure products are properly prepared and delivered.Work Environment & Physical RequirementsThis role requires the ability to work in a warehouse and refrigerated cooler environment (approximately 34°F) and to regularly stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, climb in and out of a truck, and sit for extended periods.The position requires the ability to safely lift and move products weighing up to 60 pounds regularly, with or without reasonable accommodation.
