Job summary

Delaware Valley Floral Group in Cranberry Township, PA is seeking a Part-Time Casual Delivery Driver to safely and efficiently deliver fresh floral products along assigned routes.

You will operate a 16-foot refrigerated box truck, manage routes using maps or GPS, and provide courteous customer service during deliveries. The role requires an early start (3:30 AM) and occasional Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of fresh floral products to customers throughout Western PA, Northern WV, and into OH.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service during deliveries.
• Load and unload products while maintaining product quality and organization.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and basic operational readiness.
• Follow assigned routes and use maps or GPS/navigation tools to optimize efficiency.
• Work efficiently in a warehouse and refrigerated cooler environment (approximately 34°F).
• Use equipment such as pallet jacks, box cutters, and RF scanners as needed.
• Partner with warehouse team members to ensure order accuracy.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and DOT regulations.

About The Role

The Part-Time Casual Delivery Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently delivering fresh floral products to customers across assigned routes. This role plays a key part in ensuring on-time delivery, maintaining product quality, and delivering a positive customer experience.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This role requires the ability to work in a warehouse and refrigerated cooler environment (approximately 34°F) and to lift, carry, and move products up to 60 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation. The position also requires frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing in and out of a truck, and extended driving periods.

Compensation & Benefits (What’s In It For You)

The expected hourly rate for this position is listed above. Actual compensation will depend on skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.

Please note: This is a part-time position and is not eligible for company-sponsored benefits.

Additional Offering

• Quarterly safety incentive bonus (up to $1,500 annually, based on eligibility)

Other Information

• Onsite role based out of the Cranberry Township, PA distribution facility
• Part-time, as-needed schedule with variable hours based on business needs; flexibility required
• Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays required
• Start time is 3:30 AM until route completion
• Local travel required throughout Western PA, Northern WV, and into OH

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• 2+ years of professional driving experience operating commercial vehicles, with 16-foot box trucks or larger preferred
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain DOT Medical Certification (CDL not required)
• Acceptable driving record
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Ability to safely lift and move up to 60 pounds
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to effectively use maps and GPS/navigation tools for route management
• Strong time management, multitasking, and organizational skills
• Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills
• Dependable, hardworking, and team-oriented approach
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings
